Editorial and corrections policy

What we publish

• Prices only from the gym’s own website, a chain’s official page for that club, the gym itself, or a member’s report we checked. Each with its source and date.
• Facts about a gym (address, type, whether it has closed) from open data and the gym’s or chain’s own pages.
• Summary sentences written from those facts. They never state anything the page’s data does not show.

Corrections

• Every report of a wrong price is checked against the gym’s own page. When we were wrong, we fix the page and its date.
• A gym can send its current prices on our page for gyms. Once checked, they are shown as “confirmed by the gym” with the date.
• A price that has gone out of date is marked so, and hidden after four months until it is re-checked.

Independence

No gym pays to be listed, to change a price, or to be ranked higher. If paid placements are ever offered, they will be marked as such and will never change a price, a label or the order of the list. See how we make money.

Use of AI

An AI model helps read gyms’ pages. It never decides what is published: every number it returns must appear word for word on the gym’s own page, checked by code, or it is thrown away.
